About The Property
Luskintyre Equine Centre (LEC) is incorporating Newcastle Equine Rehabilitation and Reproduction Centre (NERRC) as an expansion of the services offered by our sister clinic, Newcastle Equine Centre. LEC will continue to offer the expert assisted equine reproduction services for both mares and stallions as well as routine equine care, boarding facilities for rehabilitation and extended wound/lameness care, on site dentistry, lameness workups and vaccinations. Our ambulatory team will be based at LEC to make travel more affordable to clients in the immediate area.
OUR TEAM
Luskintyre Equine Centre is staffed by a great team of expert Administrators, Veterinarians, Equine Veterinary Nurses, Veterinary Assistants and Farm Maintenance employees. We also share staff with Newcastle Equine Centre allowing a broad-ranging team to facilitate the best care for our equine patients.
Agustin is originally from Argentina where he did his DVM and initial training in Equine Reproduction in Criollo and Polo Pony horses. He then moved to Qatar to expand an equine commercial embryo transfer private project in Arabian Show Horses. He then pursued his post-graduate studies at Washington State University (USA) where he completed a Master of Science and a comparative Theriogenology Residency Training Program under the mentoring of Dr. Ahmed Tibary. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenology. His clinical interest includes assisted reproduction and stallion infertility/subfertility.

Michelle is a dedicated equine nurse and experienced rider with her own horse breeding facility, Adelle Stock Horse Stud, winning many awards in the show ring. LEC is lucky to have such an amazing and experienced horsewoman to assist our vets to safely work on our equine patients when they visit Luskintyre Equine.

Michelle is a certified veterinary nurse who has extensive experience in nursing, industry, customer service and practice management. Luskintyre Equine has already seen the benefit of her organizational skills, attention to the customer experience and amazing dedication to the smooth operation of the centre as well as the well-being of the horses as visitors and residents on the property.
